Making jerky is a tradition in Wisconsin. Great cattle farms and Deer hunting within the state give the opportunity to create a lot of great jerky yourself. It’s a lot of work. I tried some of the jerky from Mike’s on a trip to the Northwoods. All I can say is that I’ll leave the jerky making to the folks at Mike’s Country Meats. Amazing taste and texture.
